Any structural engineers on the forum?

Just wondering if there are any structural engineers on the forum that would be willing to look at some domestic house plans, just need a bit of advice on the position of a steel joist and steel support leg for a domestic extension.

I have PDF plans but before applying for planning I just want to make sure I'll be able to position the joist where I want it. I'll have access to CAD files once I've aproved to plans.

dave there was a thread a while back which people used to note what they did in the real world... think it was called business networking or sometime similar
