Typo error double pole switch this breaks both the live and neutral so it is like disconnecting the appliance

I would say safety first and call a sparky. If you tripping the breaker for a particular part of the house it’s not likely to disappear. I had one a couple of years after doing up an annex, turned out it’s was the cable coming into a back box was the issue. You need a mega and a competent person to diagnose the issue if you are not able to physically disconnect all items on that ring.
