Due to a new job and moving house this years Eurohoon will be UK based and likely to be the West Coast of Scotland. After 5 years of the Alps and Pyrenees this is new ground and any advice on routes would be gratefully received.
Any recommended routes in the west of Scotland

Ooooooh where to start, not sure how many secrets to give out... 
A82 north from Glasgow/Erskine Bridge to Fort William and beyond
A621 aka Dukes Pass north from Aberfoyle towards Callander (then continue north on A84 to Crianlarach)
A830 aka Road to the Isles, from Fort William to Mallaig (possibly my favourite road)
Skye in general!
A82/A87 north from Fort William
The Belach Na Ba (Pass of the Cattle) across to Applecross is essential! Continue the route north around the coast to join back onto real-width roads
Basically from these right up the north coast through Ullapool, etc and north to Durness is a good mix of awesome scenery and roads

Might be worth asking in the Scottish section on Pistonheads - you'll get a lot of useful info on there. Actually, I'm sure there's a roadtrip thread going on there at the moment...
