Any plans for a uk xmas dinner or meet?

I'm doing something similar with my previous car club (SXOC - 200sx owners club) and the though just crossed my mind.

Was wondering if the UK z4 contingent had any plans for an xmas get together and some grub :) We are probably all over the country and a bit sparse for individual regional meets which is the main problem, although maybe those who work in london etc could meet for some beers and a curry down brick lane - mmm :driving: :D :evil:

No apologies needed, it's a great idea... personally I'm fully booked in the weekends runnning up to xmas, but hopefully you'l get some takers
 
Ah yes I think you're right, it is spread around a bit. A lot of people have work parties and go away for Xmas now too.
Definitely time for a decent meet at somke point next year though :thumbsup:
 
Likewise, doing this with some of the old VX crowd (who mostly don't own VXs anymore anyway!).

But yes, would be interested if there's a few up for it, depending on location...
 
Well if a few of us worked in the city (I'm near victoria) then we could always meet up after work and grab a few drinks and a bite to eat :) (with the sxoc we usually end up for curry in brick lane near aldgate with drinkies in the hoop and grapes beforehand - its cheap and does the trick on a friday night).

Failing that does anyone have any suggestions, would be nice to meet some of you lot :driving: :thumbsup:

Love the Z4M mr sixspeed looks amazing in white and have yet to see another in that colour, I really wanted one but couldn't justify twice twice the cost :evil: Did you try the 987 boxster S, saw a tasty cayman s at the petrol station last night 8)
 
Next Wednesday, 12th Dec., there is a Drive and Dine from Solihull starting 7.30pm.
Meal is at The Bell, Monks Kirby.

Can you give me some more detail on the Drive and Dine? Sounds interesting and given the global nature of this Z4 forum with me being no more than 25 minutes from Solihull it seems too good an opportunity to miss.

The events having been running for about 9 years and are monthly. There is a 30 mile fairly spirited drive followed by a meal in a decent venue.
We leave Brueton Park car park at 7.30pm and most people arrive around 7.15pm. It is open to any enthusiast and is mainly Z based. Usually around 6 cars but has been 11 and sometimes in winter people go direct to the venue if they dont like night driving.
The start is only a few hundred yards from junction 5 M42.
For a three course meal at The Bell reckon on £30 but depends what you have.
 
A london meet are not to far from it sounds good. are there any bmw shows coming up soon? possibly santa pod having another bm meet?
