Any opinions on wrapping my mirrors in matt black

I have a black-silver theme going on my car. I was thinking of maybe wrapping my mirrors in matt black foil. Maybe it would look nice with my black roof and the matt black side protection on my sills. Any opinions?

Used to be painted mirrors were an upgrade from matt black ones. Now you want to go back? I would leave mine painted.

Hi I would leave the mirrors and satin black the chrome trim on your kidney grills and the lower middle section on your front bumper ( the bit between the fangs ) that would make it look very aggressive.

I would leave the car the way it is for one reason... it is the nicest M Roadster (and Beedub's) i have seen to be honest... i actually never saw an M Roadster with both a hard top and CSL's... looks very impressive

I also think that if you make the mirrors black, the car won't look as wide from the front...

Love the look of your car just like it is so I would the mirrors as is.
My opinion is a bit biased as I have the same color combo.

I have the silver grill on mine but I think the black grill looks so much better with the silver/black roof. Did you outline your headlights with black or some other after market trim ?

I did not chance anything on the headlights. What is different in your opinion? The only thing that is different on my car is the matt black protection on the sills, that the pervious owner installed. I did a photoshop with matt black mirrors...it looked cheap and dull. You guys are correct and no matt wraping the mirrors for me...

Normally I'm not a big fan of chrome on cars. But the front chrome grill on the Z4M look ok. Maybe in time I'm going for a full black kidney grill (it's not a priority). Have to check if it looks good. Where can you buy a full black one or is this only the chrome that gets a cover?

why do you want your mirrors to look plastic? personal choice of course, but I would say no. Good thing about wrapping is if you decide you don't like it, you can remove it.

Thanks... A lot of people tell me they have never seen a Z4MR with a hardtop and also CSL wheels. I really like the more agressive sportcar look with the hardtop :D Normally the hardtop is only on the car in wintertime and then my 18" 164M winterwheels are also on the car.
