Any member got a striped Z ?

Spent some time trawling old posts whilst off over xmas & really taken with the centre stripe idea . http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=774
Anyone had this done recently ?

Th3odor3 (?) has red stripes on his black coupe... I'll see if I can find a link to pics. I liked it, though I think his car is ruby black so in the right light they just look perfect.

Thanks mr B . that sure does stand out 8) maybe a little "loud" for me i was thinking more a graphite to match the grey in the kidney grills ?
i shall put stripes on my "to do when i get my tax back" list :wink: but it is getting ever longer haha

not yet needed but want /
grooved discs=new pads
2 new rear sessantas
front bumper repaint
4 alloys refurbed

definitely not needed but too much daydreaming /
centre of sport seats retrimmed in contrast colour
wing mirrors painted contrasting colour (silver or graphite)
centre body stripes (silver or graphite)
upgrade speakers

Hmmmm. Graphite, might look ok actually. Even more subtle, get matte black grilles and then matte black stripes :evil:

Great list(s) BTW. The 'not needed' are the most fun

If you add a stripe then it shouldn't be down the centre line, IMHO it should run length of car but down the passenger side.

I prefer the centre especially with the pronounced hollow on coupe roof ? i,l have to have a play with some gas tape

I like it, I've been thinking about a spot of colour on my car using the ///M colours, maybe like the Martini Porsches, but subtler, who's good at photoshop!!

I've seen him driving around my area a few months before I bought my Zed. Looked good. Eye catching. Haven't seen him for a long while now..

It is a love/hate thing on decals & stripes but i think a subtle graphite , not to wide would look good on sapphire coupe

That's not bad indeed, but I would also prefer them on the passenger's side I think
