Any INPA DIS gurus out there?

I'm running Win 10 on my laptop and trying to find out what is causing my DSC and ABS lights to glow amber.

However whenever I try to select anything on INPA I get an Initialization error

Whenever I try to select quick test on DIS I get a communication error 200.xxx

The Battery and Ignition radio buttons on INPA are white, I understand they should be black for INPA to work, how do I set them to black , is this an EIDIBAS issue?

Also, how do I close the DIS programme without having to resort to Task Manager on win 10?

I'm using a Cableshack lead if that makes any difference.

I found on mine that INPA and DIS use COM1, yet the cable I was using had another COM port assigned.

You can change this in device manager.

As for closing, I can't remember, been too long!!!!
