B21 Elite Scottish Borders Oct 16, 2021 #3 Some E89s were allegedly fitted with non AGM batteries which require a vent hence the tube… Some AGM batteries do have an emergency vent which uses that tube. Some AGM batteries don’t have a vent, that can be plumbed, so that pipe becomes redundant
