Any idea how much to repair?

Hi and Happy New Year!
After lurking for a while I have plucked up the courage to register and post!

I have been looking for an early Z4 for a while and had literally “parked” looking until the spring but then I heard about a car
I know of is up for sale, the only downside
is it has a little damage on the rear quarter,
not enough to put me off but to help price it
I would like a rough idea how much it will cost to repair, any thoughts please?

Hi, your cheapest options are either a smart repair or unbolt the panel & fit a used one in a matching colour, I’d guess at £100/200 ish.

I am no expert, but there are a few options, a smart repair which would be around £200, replace the panel with a second hand one, £150 plus taking the old one off and fitting the replacement, (it is quite easy to do) or a repair full respray of the panel which is going to be upto £500 for a decent job, you can contact chipsaway for a free estimate here https://www.chipsaway.co.uk/free-estimate/

a quick brush over with one of those nail varnish style paint repair kits would take the just hit look off it while you think about the direction to go in though.

Did a front 1/4 not long ago. Cost £ 180.--

Hard to tell from the photo, but that might just be somebody else’s paint. See if it will buff off.
