As some of you may have realised from recent posts I am in the process of buying a house with my partner.

We have hit a stumbling block with the sale of the share of freehold on our existing flat. (1:3 share with the other 2 flats in the building).

When one flat sold recently we did not have to sign new freehold transfer documents, it was done automatically.

With the sale of our flat, the purchasers solicitors are requiring the other flat owners to sign a transfer deed where all 3 owners are listed under 1 address. On the previous deeds they are all listed separately.

Are there any solicitors on here who can advise which is the correct way?

We are supposed to exchange on Tuesday 5th, but other flat owners are not happy signing the transfer deeds in its new wording.
