just had a quote from the only guy i could find for fitting 3 bedrooms + stairs/landing total 50 sq mtr .
Now i know from past experience that would take a competent fitter under 6/7 hours .
Bearing in mind the chap has added 110 euros for travelling time & fuel he wants 325 euros + 7euros for each door thresher-plate (so another 42 euros) making a grand total for a days work 477 euros :evil: FFS i should take his address & send round the gendarmerie as there would clearly be a robbery in progress should i give him the go ahead . , , , , which i didn't
