Hi all -as above really is there anything that can be fitted under front bumper to protect it from speed bumps ramps etc?-my 3 series had 2-3 inches of rubber at either side which i know wont stop the inevitable happening but its better than nothing.Im sure ive seen an add on lip used in the states?

In the US they have clear plastic sacrificial strips but frankly they just lower the front edge even more and increase the risk of damage.
Just learn where the front is.
BTW if you look further underneath you'll see rubber /plastic moulded strips each side in front of the wheels. There for aero dynamic reasons
