I was about to post on the thread re the gap between the sunvisors saying that you should move to cumbria and then you'll never notice due to the constant rain and then that got me thinking about a different problem.

My drivers side wiper seems must skip across the windscreen a little stright in front of the drivers eyeline on the downward stroke of the wipe leaving this area a little bit erm...."smeary". It's just had brand new oem wipers on from the stealers so can't be the blades. I've put it down to the curve on the windscreen, anyone else have this problem?

I put Rain-X on all my windows (the exterior side) which lets most of the rain & frost come off more easily.

The wipers are only used when there's not enough rain to bead or film off - for example when you're getting dirty spray from another vehicle which just sticks to the screen/car.

I've also recently bought (but not fitted) a set of the Neoform wipers to try - I had them on one side of my M5 to see the difference and was impressed.

This is don't have an issue with since switching to a set of those bracketless blades...Valeo. On the OEM blades I wasn't impressed at all.

Not just curvature of the screen--sometimes when they're new, there is a mold release compound on them and if you've wiped across dirt or oil, the blades could have picked up grit or oil. I don't have this problem with mine (OEM) but hubby's Bosch bracketless fit on his F150 do a great job. He's very happy with them.
