:o shocking. Absolutely shocking.

Just driven to work and in that time the fatalities have climbed from 18 to 26 to 30, with many more being held Hostage.

Just watching the coverage on Sky News, at least 40 dead and upwards of 60 being held hostage by gunmen.

France has taken quite a few hits with terrorists this year alone.

This kind of terrorism will only get worse/increase I'm afraid.
Over here in the UK we are certainly not safe by any stretch of the imagination.

It's hard to see how this crap can be resolved under the current war on terrorism stance. It's just provoking more attacks and as always it's the innocent caught up in the cross fire. Thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families x

Tragic and so sorry for those that have lost their lives.

It really is a wake up call that free passage through the EU has to be stopped now with far tighter border controls put in place. This should have been done a long time ago. It's all very well saying terrorism won't win and it musnt be allowed to effect our freedom etc but Europe's naievity has allowed today's tragedy.

Laughable that France has closed its borders, a little late for that now.

Tim.

Tim there is no guarantee that the responsible people are not Parisiens themselves
Unfortunately Paris has almost ghetto areas around its perimeter where middle eastern and North African folk are treated badly - been this way for years
Fertile ground for radicalisation :-(

You're most likely right but I think of all the migrants of late and their free passage and you don't know who was amongst them. I think closing EU borders is a step in the right direction.

Tim.

It's all too late now. The security forces don't even know who has really come into Europe from Syria, Iran, Iraq etc. If they are part of a terrorist cell, who is going to stop them before they show themselves in public.

This is now out of control.

Now being reported that there are over 100 murdered...
---also being reported that this is/was a ISIS operation....

The world is a horrible horrible place, this sort of s**t outweighs all of the advances we live with in modern day :(

The whole thing concept is pointless, there isn't even a conceivable aim. Sure, innocent people have always been killed in history but usually with aim to conquering countries etc (not that I agree with that reasoning )

160 killed total so far according to skynews, the majority of which were in the Bataclan theatre.

French borders closed (about time).

Only a matter of time before London gets hit again if we keep letting so many 'refugees' in.

It's not the refugees that are the problem - they are yet another symptom :(.

Something has to change that's for sure - the big problem is working out what !

Yet again the same old waffle from the country's leaders (Hollande)
With every incident it makes their words more insulting to anyone connected
Tragic event indeed

Very sad just awful watching the news this morning. I just can't understand what would make people do this. Feel so sorry for the victims and there families.

In this country we have people in place in key areas on 20 minns notice to move. Ul be surpirsed where they are. Only a matter of time until there reacting to something like this here.
