Another softop cleaning question

Hi

I'm new to snow foaming, first go on Friday :D (great fun) I used the Demon snow foam shampoo which says all exterior surfaces.
So does anyone snow foam there soft top, and if so what are the results? I ask as my Zed has a beige softop and will be kept on the drive for a couple of months as the garage is otherwise occupied.
TIA

I wouldn’t, you’d be there forever trying to get the soap out. On my soft tops, including one with cream roof, I always got great results from the Autoglym pack. The protection treatment will do the job for those 2 months and beyond, particularly during the summer.

Found this if it helps.

Won't do any harm, but as bmbardo says it would be a nightmare to fully rinse out. Would avoid it just for that reason.

Interesting topic. When I clean my soft-top I remove the suds with a vaccuum cleaner that suck up water. Works a treat.

Good suggestion
Not sure your average punter will want to haul out the wet vac on every wash though, but good for the occasional deep clean.

Depends on how confident you are on the water tightness of your roof. You can do it but you would need to pressure wash afterwards to get rid of the suds. You don't want any snowfoam lying on there afterwards. How about getting a little brush out and agitating the whole roof with an appropriate cleaner if it's really dirty? Probably safer and more effective.
