Another problem... Power Steering

Need some help. I hit a major pothole (not at any massive speed) but it seems to have hurt something. Not a mark on the wheel so the impact couldn't have been that bad. But my power steering light came on and I've lost my EPS. I tried re-starting a couple of times but the light stays on. Manual says to take it in.

Anyone got any advice? Please? How much is this likely to cost me?

I suspect the only answer is take it to the dealer, or a good indy if you know one....could be anything from a busted sensor to something a lot worse.

But disconnect the battery for half an hour first, just in case that clears it.
