Ok, just thought id post a quick hello. New to the forum and all that :)

Looking to get a Z4 in Feb so im looking around what i can get for 12k.

Im after a 3.0l with less than 40k on the clock and ive seen some on Autotrader atm!

Anyway ill keep browsing here for a bit :wink:

Whats the 3.0 good for milage wise plz guys?
Id be getting an 04/05 plate with about 30/40k on the clock... -)

The 3.0L by all accounts is pretty bomb proof with some reliable high mileage examples about.

There are several threads on this Forum if you look for them, but the general consensus seems to be that total mileage can be less important than type of mileage and how the car's been driven

(i.e. 60,000 careful motorway miles is probably preferable than 40,000 miles in the city and regular out of town thrashing) :thumbsdown:
