Another newbie starting on Z4 journey

Hi all. I'm pretty new to the world of two-seaters (although the other half did own a Z3 until recently). After plenty of research, I've decided that a Z4 is for me - now it's just a case of finding one. I've got up to 12k to spend, so hopefully I'll be able to find a nice one. So far I've narrowed down the spec I want to a refresh 3.0si or 2.5si. Oh, and it can't be black or titanium, as I've had several cars in those colours in the past.

The following have caught my eye, as I rather like the two-tone red/black leather:

The first one is more in range (I'm in Coventry, UK) but it seems a little expensive. I've been struggling to find a 3.0si so far.

Rambly first post over.

Theyre both lovely examples. The first is a bit expensive as you say
Are you a cash buyer?
Consider your position if you are.............. Its October, Its a soft top and its getting close to Xmas. Go in with your size 9's on and see how much they are prepared to drop.
If you don't buy them they will probably have them on their stock list until spring when people think ...........wouldn't it be nice to have a soft top?
They might prefer to free up the capital to purchase some thing else. If not there are plenty other choices........... have you tried Piston heads?
Good luck

Thanks for the welcome - and the encouragement! I'll let you know how I get on.

I'm currently looking on Pistonheads, Autotrader, ebay, Parkers and my local Sytner BMW. is there anywhere else I should be looking?

Also, interestingly (well, a bit), I've just done a What Car valuation on the first car, and it says £11,525 dealer price. So if that's true, it's overpriced, but not by as much as I thought.
