Another Newbie Joining

Hi

Greg here, decided to chop in the Civic Type R below (and now for sale ) and get myself a Z4 last week!
I made good use of the Type R forum and hope to do the same with this one.

Let me know what you think, its got almost every option asides from seats and steering wheel

Iv already had a look around the forum and already have a question if you could help me?! I want an iPod Integration, Parrot MKi9200 seems better for me then Intravee. I just need to know that the sound quality will be just as good (or close) to that from a CD. I have seem some posts saying its fine. Others saying that due to using its own amp its awful. I have carver and DPS (10 speakers and 6 CD changer).

with reference to the parrot, i have installed the MKi9200 and i have no issues with sound, mine as the standard business system

Hi and welcome!! Really nice looking Z there! reminds me of mine lol! i love my MKi9200 but ill be honest for me its a lot quieter than a CD and just doesnt go loud enough for my liking, im running the basix 6 speaker business. dont get me wrong i still wouldnt be without it!

Welcome. I have a MKi1200 and it's definitely quieter than the CD but not so much so that it'll spoil your listening unless you really want something that'll make your ears bleed.

Thanks for all the comments guys, its interesting that the Z's been around here before. Im glad you like the wheels too as I wasnt too sure not being the originals but do quite like them.
On the parrot mki9000 topic, does anyone have this with DSP? I dont mind it being a bit quieter but apparently there might be some issues due to DSP having its own amp as well as the parrot. I read somewhere that the parrot amp takes over so you loose quality and possible sound from some of the speakers.
