Hello,
A brief note to introduce myself. Over the past 8 years I have been a regular poster on forums which cover, BMW E30, MGZS180, TOyota MR2 Mk1, and as of last Saturday when I bought my new Z4 Coupe I find myself here.
I have already insured with Chris Knott as a result of my first visit here, so it's already saved me a little cash, thank you.
My car? Nothing special, nor will it veer from standard much over the coming years, however it is an '07 SI Sport Z4 Coupe in grey. Very good condition, FBMWSH, with new springs and Pilot Sports already fitted, so the previous owner clearly knew what he or she was up to.
A non-standard interior was requested from new however - a black and light grey stitched leather dash, with piano wood by the gear stick and M-sport seats/door cards to match.
It's been raining since I picked it up so I have not taken the driver aids off, nor has my finger ventured near that tempting sport button.
It's a very different drive to my last car - the MR2 MK1 which was a hoot to drive, but whilst I have somewhat less feel through the steering in the Z4, it is power-assisted so I emit less grunts when parking.
Nice to meet you and I look forward to being in touch over the coming months no doubt.
Pauly
