Another broken spring thread

Hi all. Both my rear springs broken. Other than being broke I like the way the stock suspension rides. I'm looking to replace with genuine BMW parts but they are wanting £85 each plus the vat. Anyone know where it's possible to get them cheaper.
I've looked at the eibach etc but keen to keep the height and ride the same. Thanks in advance

I've got some in perfect nick that were removed and replaced by eibachs. I could be persuaded to part with them

How do you know when your springs are broken?

Eibachs do not lower the car much...although i appreciate you're trying to keep an OEM look!

It can be tricky to tell when they are broken. I had a loose bit rattling around so could hear it. Also the car may not sit completely level. Only way for sure is to get the car in the air and from there you can feel the spring for any splits or brakes.
These should be an mot failure but alot don't spot it.

Have you tried your dealer - mine was out of warranty, took it to the dealer - quick phone call to BMW and replaced FOC.
