Another big recommendation for AUTOTECH PERFORMANCE Telford

Having had my car in my local indy and being told that I needed a new light module at £300 + labour + re-coding + VAT I decided I wanted a second opinion ( I have my reasons)

I had seen good reviews on here for Pete at Autotech performance in Telford and as he is only 30 miles away (and fun roads between us) I gave him a call today and took the car straight over

Pete got straight on my car and within minutes of plugging in the autologic had not only cured my lighting problem but had also cleared numerous other faults stored in the memory and informed me that I had a faulty passenger seat sensor, a fault that my local indy had supposedly fixed a month ago and had charged the garage I bought the car off

Needless to say that Pete will be doing the seat sensor for me and I will definitely be going to him for any servicing etc in the future

This is good to hear. They're 30 mins from me too so we'll definitely be using them from recommendations on here.

Just wanted to throw another recommendation in here for Pete at Autotech - I had my roof motor done (not covered by my warranty, sadly) there last week. Not only was it cheaper than the original quote, the job was superb. There's not much to do around the area where his garage is, so I just sat chatting, drinking tea and watching the whole thing:

When they pulled the roof out it was sat in four inches of mucky water - here's a lesson to everyone to take a look at those drain holes sooner rather than later.

How much did he charge you?

I had a inspection 2 service plus brake fluid changed and while he was under the car the brake pipes were given a coating of waxoil.
The cost was £250 + vat .All parts used were oem std i.e Mann filters Castrol Edge oil etc.
There is not to see in the surrounding area ,their was no problem with me sitting in the workshop watching the service being carried out.
I cannot recomend his work highly enough.
This is not one off these fancy workshops with a posh waiting room so if you stay and watch the work being done take some warm clothes .

Roof motor failed this morning, cue a phone call to autotech.

Just wondered, has anyone successfully done a mod to prevent further water damage. Ie, sealing the motor a la post facelift models.

I'll post this query within a most specific roof thread as well.

Cheers
