Anodizing the aluminum dash parts

Has anyone considered anodizing the aluminum dash parts? I was thinking perhaps a titanium or darker gray or perhaps black. Does anyone know of any photos?

bet that would look really nice, especially a dark grey, cant see any reason why you couldnt do it?

Agreed, sounds like it would be nice in a titanium finish. Someone else has put a different finish on the parts, will have a quick look for the pics.

how about carbon fiber? I've been thinking of wrapping it (if possible) with the roll bars.

think thats the one Wondermike is on about.

I have a set of brushed ali in the loft I took off mine (replaced with the best finish Carbon Leather) and though about getting them painted gloss black as the large piece has a coupld of marks by the stereo hole.

The pars are all solid aluminium so anodising shouldnt be a problem.

Question = what should I use to polish the aluminium?

Mine has a lot of scratches now - you know it scratches So easily.

Anodizing could look cool.

There are loads of options out there though. You can have almost any pattern you want put on it.... i don’t know the exact name but they run a patterned film over water and you dip the part in it and then it adheres to the surface.

They use it to camouflage weapons, add patterns to quads and loads of other stuff. Could be quite good
