Anodising

It got me thinking what the aluminium dash panels would look like anodised in different colours.
Has anyone done any DIY anodising using kits similar to these http://www.frost.co.uk/automotive-paint-coating-electroplating/automotive-electroplating/anodising-dye-kits.html?p=1 and getting decent results??

Unless you planning on doing a lot and have some spares to practice on I don't think it's worth the hassle.

Russ there's a company on Hermitage lane that does Anodising, I'm going to use them soon
