Annoying rattle behind passenger seat

pothole city where I live and there is an annoying rattle by or behind the passenger seat. Makes no difference if I put the front and back window down. Suggestions on what to look for please.

Best... Steve

Piece of felt or thin rubber either side of the wedge just below rear window.
Hardware stores sell rubber or felt pads to stick on furniture or hi-fi's.

First place I go is listen keenly - what does it sound like, plastic, thin metal tapping etc. Then I get stuck in looking for it with some idea of what i MIGHT be looking for. Its also fair to say that on occasion a rattle can sound like its coming from one are but its in a totally different place..... Good luck Steve and keep us updated....

There was one in the wife's coupe for a while, something loose and rattling. I eventually realised she'd been through her handbag and put a couple of biros in the cubby hole :(

I have the same annoying rattle from my passenger seat but only seems to be there when the wifes with me!!!!! :D

I recently found my annoying rattle. It was the door locking button rattling in the hole. With the door open I could tap the door and then here the rattle. A bit of tape sorted. Loads of info online about it.

just went for a quick drive with the top down - rattle pretty much gone so something in the hardtop? I put into the half way position but could not find anything that was really loose. Any ideas or where to check?

You can apply grease to the latch points on the top of the windscreen.
