Drugs Test (This was written by British Soldier- What he says makes a lot of sense!)

'I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to earn that pay , I train for war and eventually deploy. I am required to pass a random urine test… for drugs l, with which I have no problem. ... What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.

Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a benefits cheque because I have to pass one to EARN IT for them? Please understand that I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone sit on their arse drinking beer and smoking dope. Could you imagine how much money the government would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a benefit cheque?'

Yes Okay but not sure that's the answer, perhaps the legalisation of all narcotics.....you see I am all for Darwin's theory of evolution.

Having failed the urine test, how would they get money to purchase their next hit, yes of course do what they do now, theft or prostitution, so no change there then. Make heroin et al legal, prices drop. those who are insane enough to get addicted, do and the addictive genome will eventually be wiped out through natural selection, spend the profits from a state organised retail outlet to help the ones that want to quit.

Heroin legal - debated by many and we remain where we are in terms of it illegality in the UK. Over time, and if made legal may eventually decline in use but what between now and then. Babies will continue to be born addicted at birth through addicted mothers, the cost of health service treatment for those currently addicted and so it goes on. And why spend any state profits through legal sales on those who want to quit - loads of things my local school needs just to give the kids a decent education, loads of equipment my local hospital needs just to treat patients with naturally occurring illness. Oh and who would supply the drug – legalise the production in Afghanistan and other places...........

But then I like a lot of the european ideas too ............. for example.

Drugs are ilegal in Holland ..... but its down to the local province how they spend their justice buget ..... so in places like amsterdam it appears drugs are legal, which does reduce the price and ........... funnily enough Holland has the lowest percentage of addicts and abusers ....... (doesn't include tourists)

Medical insurance ....... is primarily private .... if you earn below a certain level you pay for government insurance ...... end result is Hospitals have to compete for business and health care is first class with no waiting lists. (has the benefit of voiding health tourists and ilegals)

Euthanasia is illegal ...... but like drugs, its down to the local justice officer what he spends his money on ...... so, ......... my mother inlaw at the time had terminal cancer - and couldn't be arsed with the slow death thing ....... minister bloke came round, no one objected..... job done, she got what she wanted

car insurance ..... when you buy insurance its for the car, not the person ....... and even if you forget to pay the premium, it automaticaly rolls over so you are always insured, and for some reason its cheaper .......

benefits .... you'll like this ...... after my ex spent all the cash she went on benefits ...... she was informed that she needed to be at the benefits office at 8 am every day and stay there for 8 hrs ....... as they were paying, they wanted her time ...... she got a job instead.

theres loads of stuff that we have thats better ......... but it would be good to have all the best bits ...........

being an old shite I do remember the "old" days ....... it was before all the north sea oil came in and gave the government loads of cash. In those days, when you went down to sign on, they told you to f**k off and get a job ...... and if you were succesful, it was just enough to pay the bus fare so you could sign on once a week.
Now the government has run out of cash ........ Im thinking that it will not be long before them bad old times return.

But then hahahahhahaha consider this .......
If all the bums and spongers and parasites all suddenly developed a work sense and went out and got stuck in ...... there would be huge competition in the job market and old shites like me would be out of work in a flash ....... and I wouldn't be able to do the things I do and drive the cars I want ....... so even though I object to it all, I tend to just smile and drive past them to a place where they cant go and continue to enjoy my life

I would support many of these ideas, especially the need for the work-shy to give their time in exchange for the money they feel they deserve. Perhaps they could perform some kind of useful task while they are at the benefits office - I don't know, maybe breaking rocks or sewing mail bags...
