Hello Z4 Forum :D

Well I picked up my Z4 on Saturday and already love it to bits. It's a 2005 2.5i SE Roadster in a metallic dark blue. I'm looking to make some tweaks to it as and when funds allow. Going to do some reading around the forums to see what great tips and things I can pick up.
It seems pretty standard other than the M-Sport rims which seem quite new and the 245/40 tyres which just sit outside the body work (not sure if I should be worried about that or not).

In the past we have had an E46 Coupe and a Tourer, a Mini Cooper and a Clubman when the kids arrived. at the moment our other car is an X3.

Anyway here is a pic of what it looked like on Saturday.

Things I plan to do:-
- Fit airbag switch
- Update speakers, currently not that great
- Get audio jack cable in somehow
- Change the front indicator glass to clear as on the newer models.
- fix up the light assembly behind the front bumper which feels loose.

Any tips or advice on the above would be great.

Hi and welcome.

Those tyre sizes arent right for rhe Z4. Looking at those wheels i think they might be from a five series hence why they stick out.

Tyres shoud be 225 40 R18 on front and 255 35 R18 on rear on staggered rims where as the five series is a square set up as per your car.

Hi and welcome aboard

Nice looking zed you have bought, however I agree with Srhutch, the wheels don't look quite right.

Enjoy :driving:

Thanks for the replies, very interesting about the 245's coming from a 5 series.
Will there be any issues with having the wider tyres other than the look?
