Hi - looking through the back window at the space between the two headrests I think I might be missing a bit of plastic trim that should be covering this exposed metal or is this part of the roof locking?

Can anyone confirm?

I’ve noticed it’s leaving a bit of a greasy mark too on my interior roof lining from when the roof goes down so possibly if it should be exposed it has been over greased.

That's the centre lock for when the roof is in the down position. Someone will have greased it to stop it squeaking when it is down. Wipe off the grease and put some in the catch on the roof leading edge centre instead as it won't then get on the roof liner. I cleaned up all the grease from mine and glued a piece of felt in the catch groove instead. No grease and no squeaks ! :thumbsup:
