As you may or may not know, I'm currently on the hunt for my first Z (been looking s couple of months now).

So why is it that even though I've seen one of the most sorted Montego Blues ever (I think you know which one!), I'm still dithering.

Well here's why and let me preface this by saying that I'm more of a 'form over function' type of guy, so I'm not a full on petrolhead but appreciate a good engine all the same


Reason 1: "It's too much car for me"

With all the mods that have been done, I just wouldn't do it justice, it'll be wasted on me

Reason 2: "I want to make it my own"

Regardles of the fact that all the usual problem areas have been taken care of (and substantial money spent doing so), I'm still willing to forfeit all of that and spend money I don't really have on a car that hasn't had a fraction of the same work done.

Does this make any sense or do I need to book myself in to see someone!??

i can remember this car changing hands around 3 yrs ago for half what its currently advertised at , that itself is not really relevant as it was not anywhere near the car it is now .
What it does highlight is you can buy these with issues , spend time & money then see your investment returned with interest .
Very unlikely with the car mentioned so you have to decide which path you are on :wink:
