Aluminium Pedals

Is there an OEM aluminium pedal cover kit for the E89?

I can’t seem to find one online, perhaps they are generic and ones from a different car will fit?

Anyone tried this?

I think they are available for the manual too.

EDIT: For manual:

I found pedals like the ones pictured quite slippery when wet... which I understand it is all the F-k-g time.
Pedals on the Mustang looked just like the listings above. My wet sneaker kept trying to slip up over the (heavy) clutch pedal. I finally changed them out to something mid-evil time/ Also I'd be leery of putting a wider gas pedal in the mix. Already too easy to fat-foot the go pedal when braking because all the pedal sets nearly on the same plane with little space between them. Heel toe is more of a side to side roll.

Always wondered about these...is there any real benefit to them, or is it mainly a visual mod?

No benefit apart from aesthetic as far as I am aware.

My girlfriend’s car has metal pedals, they look good.

I think the original BMW ones should not suffer from these problems. If you see they have a fair amount of rubber for grip and the size should be exactly the same as original. I certainly wouldn't fit any other unbranded aftermarket ones.
