Alternative Tyre

Had the car a couple of weeks now and consider the ride to be too hard.
I want to replace the tyres with none run flat and asking what's the common replacement.
Also how does this effect the sensors.
Thanks

Michelin Pilot Supersports seem to be a good choice however they do my head in slightly as they're a sticky tyre and attract debris and stones like no other tyre I've tried.

Just changing the tyres shouldn't affect the sensors but changing the alloys might depending on your cars build date.

On my M135i cars prior to April 2014 build relied on the ABS sensors so you could change wheels and tyres OK. After this date each wheel has its own sensor which will need swapping over to the new wheel or a new set of sensors which are around £250 a set.

Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 2s are popular and after a recommendation from Swiftly, I've found them excellent in dry and wet conditions - they are a good price at the minute as well.

(Quite a few have commented that they take longer than other tyres to bed in - at least 200 miles)

:driving:

Try Tyreleader and oponeo as well although camskill are usually well priced anyway, I have just ordered four new non run flat tyres for the 640d for the same reason as you as the ride is just too hard and its on 20 inch rims and managed to get four Bridgestones for £634.

I am sure the ride will still be poor but I just cant stand run flat tyres.
