Hey there, just wondering if there is anyone with a bmw z4 Alpina Roadster 3.4 S Lux that has a valid V5, I'm wondering if theres any chance you could give me a list of the vehicdle details that are on it for the car specifications. Obviously i don't need the sensitive numbers IE VIN plate etc, but it would be good to get all the other details CC, Model, make etc etc. My V5 needs updated as for some reason it has Light goods vehicle and its saying my car is a 4 seater. I did all the necessary HPI checks before I bought the car and it all came back ok so im not worried about anything being dodgy. Its just the vehicle Details part im needing to update and Notify the DVLA. I did think something was up because the car has a WBAB and WPARS vin plate which totally FREAKED ME OUT! LOL, but I later learned that Alpinas will have a BMW vin and an Alpina vin :). Any help would be much appreciate. Cheers

it's not that unusual for the V5 to say PLG and 4 seats - remember you're taxed as PLG - 2AlpsAde's V5 came back saying 4 seats as well. A telephone call/letter to the DVLA should sort it all out quickly

As Perry says, my RS was a 4-seater too, but I couldn't find them anywhere. Disappointed, so I fitted a dicky seat. :D Everyone happy.

No, in all seriousness, contact the DVLA by phone and they will ask you for photos of the car clearly showing its reg and seat configuration (printed pics, not electronic). They will also want a letter from Sytner Nottingham (as the importer) stating the vehicle is a 2-seater. However hard you try, you won't get anything else on the V5c updated in the car specifics, so don't bother trying.

Easypeasy update: just takes a bit of phoning-round and a piccie session :P

Good luck
