Alpina Roadsters - Image Thread

Are there differences with the interior ?

Well, only in terms of trim really. So:

1) The dash has Alpina leather
2) Alpina steering wheel
3) Blue Dials
4) Alpina embossing on the seat backs
5) Alpina gear-knob
6) Alpina mats

I think that covers the differences.
There are also lots of invisible changes in the cabin - e.g. Alpina changed all the padding on the seat frames because they weren't happy with the comfort/feel of the original BMW seat pads

Suppose I should add #310 to this thread! :D

I did post this one before - but I killed off my PhotoBucket account when they stopped free 3rd-party hosting

I’ve just noticed that nobody has posted on this thread since Jan 2019 so I thought it time to bounce it back up and see if we’ve any news members to the Alpina club ?

This one? Thanks.

It was taken passing through a small village in France on the way back to the Ferry at Cherbourg. I liked the way the red windows and door contrasted against everything else. It was after 3-4 days of hooning around and is probably the dirtiest I've ever let the car get.

These Alpina’s are an itch that’s getting worse, if I get a buyer for my M roady next spring the hunt is on... :D

#019 will most likely be up for sale by Feb/March, once I'm happy with #307 John

Yep. I am not a photographer. I just like this pic. The car and the background work well together. Both as important as each other. Really nice.

M roady defo going then?

I think so Steve yes, on my 2nd, time for a change, plus it’s so hard to drive these cars slowly, it’s go for it or don’t bother, they’re so good at what they’re designed for, suspension being the exception, all that really needs ripping out and binning, but apart from that they’re full on. When I run mine the girl at the next village petrol station thinks I fancy her I’m in so often....

I finally managed to get the pair together. A ride height difference with 111 OJX on lowered B12 suspension. Its only 30mm but aesthetically a massive difference

Turned sweet 16 this month.
Hard to believe, so treated it to a weekend of detailing and pampering.

Very nice boys.
Mine is still in storage and has been since end of April. With the recent Si I’ve had knocking about here, I’ve just not had time to use it so it’s remained untaxed alongside the coupe.
Maybe July will see it escape
