Alloys needing done again.

I got a set of alloys on my non-Z4 stripped and painted in Aug '14 and I was washing it tonight and I see that the paint is lifting and bubbling. Looks like I need them done again. How long should this last? I think less than 2 years aint good.

Anyone got any recommendations in the Glasgow area?

Stone chips or curbing in the same area? If so I can understand the paint lifting but if not I wouldn't be impressed :x

Thats what I thought SB.

I got them done and there was a fault with the laquer and the place redid them FOC for me after 8 months. They havent been kerbed AT ALL and they dont have any scrapes on them but washing the car tonight there are bubbles around the valve stems and sections of paint are lifting off entirely. I can almost understand the bubbles but not the lifting. I thought that since they were acid dipped there wouldnt have been any corrosion trapped in there but it seems I was wrong.

Its a bugger but they still need done again. Not that keen to take them back to the same place so asking around to see what my options are for trusted places.

Cheers Silva1, I'll check you out.

Gonna take it back to the original place and see if they think less than 2 years would be acceptable if it was their car.

Turns out the place I got them done originally at hadn't primed them. No wonder the paint peeled.

Didn't even bother going back to them. Took them somewhere else and very happy with the results. Suppose they always look good when they are just done. Will see what they are like in a year but I am a lot more confident in the work done to them now.
