Alloys and low profile tyres

Hi All

Just bought an 04 Z4 2.5i auto with 43k on clock for 9k. 16" tyres are terrible! Would like some new 17-18" alloys with low profile tyres. Looked around a bit but got lost in it all. Any ideas at all please?

Hi Darren - Welcome.

Get some shots of this new Zed on the forum then, else you'll be in big trouble...

I'd suggest 18" as the best compromise between looks and performance. Decide if you want OEM or aftermarket. Elipsoid s (107's) and split rim 108's are the most popular, but your call.

Decide if you want staggered set up (8.5 rear 8.0 front) and then the tyre of choice is probably Falken if you want to ditch the RFT.
 
I'm running 107s with Falken 452 tyres and couldn't be happier. I started on some awful 16s when I bought the car :(
