Alloys.... 201s ?

Hi, I'm just seeing if these are not a popular/desired wheel for Z4s e85s?
I put an advert on for 4 x 17s and not a glimmer of interest. £160 seems a fair price?
Any info welcome, thanks. 👍

Not especially popular as 18s are preferred. Also, having Bridgestone Potenzas on reduces their value to next to nothing. Otherwise £250 is a fair price in good condition. Whereabouts are they?
 
I've got a set of these and I quite like the look but they're a square setup so the rears do look a bit lost. I suppose I ought to try them again with spacers (currently back on MV2s.)

Hi, I'm in Ashford Middlesex. Near Heathrow.
The tyres can be removed. Why is it you say it renders them to be worth next to nothing?....
 
Car people are obsessed with the idea that no-one wants runflats. It stems out of the original ones - now 20 years ago - having excessively stiff sidewalls which caused the ride to be crashy. Times has moved on and RFTs have got a lot better. I have a friend that had an early E90 and, in putting on a set of second hand RFTs a few years ago, found them to be fine. My set of 201s had 3 normal tyres and 1 runflat - I never noticed until my eagle eyed friend pointed this out to me and even then I still couldn't tell from the drivers' seat.
 
I’ve got nothing against runflats per se, just the OEM fitment to Z4s. Some people who do not know better (or who insist on having everything as per the original) replace like for like. I have acquired two Z4s thus equipped and both have been transformed (in terms of steering and ride quality) by changing the tyres for non-runflats.
 
I like them, but I don't have a car they would fit!

It took me 3 adverts and over a year to sell a set of 17" E89 Style 290s with Bridgestone run-flats that ended up going for less than £200. :(

It may take time but hopefully you'll find a buyer. 👍
