Alloy Wheel Powder coat Refurb with photos!

Evening Everybody.

I recently had my MV2's refurbed. They went through quite a process:

1- Acid dipped for around 6 hours (the guy commended bmw lacquer thickness saying it took forever to strip!)
2- Pressure washed and Shot blasted
3- Kerbing dressed
4- De-gassed
5- Powder coat primed and baked.
6- Sprayed in BMW anthracite silver
7- Clear powder coated and baked.
8- Tyres refitted and balanced.

I also had the hubs painted silver and the callipers black.

All in £75 a corner which i though was incredible value for money.

I had it done by Dave at Autoshine Alloy wheel clinic in St Day, Cornwall http://www.alloywheelclinic.co.uk/

I cant recommend this company enough, spent heaps of time discussing different colours and finishes and the whole process took only 2 days.

Hope you like the colour.

Cheers,

Olly.

That's such a great colour for those wheels. I love the way they go from almost black to silver and everything in between depending on how the light reflects and the angle.

Thats a great price.

I have been wanted to get all 4 of my vmr refurbished for some time now.... But prices have been north of £400

Come to Lichfield - I'll have you sorted for way less with a top company...

They look great! Been considering a similar colour for my MV2s but only had photoshops to mull over so far.
