Had mine about 6 weeks now and, as I’m selling my business, I’ve been trying to get everything done beforehand.
The thing I’ve found with the E86 (or is it me :? ) is the desire to do things to it.
So far:
- Changed bonnet and had logo removed from the front.
- Changed wheels (thx to forum discount and great service from CN Wheels) and had them prepped slightly differently. Gtechniq C5 and EXO 40 applied.
- Leather has been reconnolised.
- Aero skirts have been purchased and sprayed ready for fitting.
- caliper refurbished and sprayed up.
- The paint had a full paint correction (3 sanding and two stage polish) gtechniq CSL and EXO 40 applied with black wax on top (not sure if it’ll adhere but hey)
- 265 35 18 continentals on the back.
Off to Beaulieu on Sunday and looking forward to it.
