Does anyone have preferred alignment specifications (camber / toe-in) for performance driving ... track days and such?

Good to see you here and welcome to the forum...
Sorry, I can't help you with your question but I am sure help will be forthcoming... :)

Dario (I think) had some info on Z4um about it, hopefully he will answer here or PM him. There was a how-to about changing the camber etc yourself, quite interesting.

ok i guess i will start it off

*opens z4 history folder*

Original:
Camber (front): 0
Camber (rear): -1.5
didnt get toe

Note: Mods are with H&R front n rear sways and PSS9 coilovers
First Mod:

Front
L ____ R
Camber -1.30 ___ -1.22
Castor +3.48 ___ +3.56
Toe In 0.5 ______ 0.5
Compression 4 _____ 4

Rear
Camber -1.15 -1.15
Toe In 1.5 1.5
Compression 5 5

Result: This adjustment felt very firm and was well balanced. But when i raised the height of the car from 9cm to 11cm, this adjustment didnt feel as great as the car didnt seem to want to grip as much.

Second Mod:

Front
L R
Camber -1.30 -1.26
Castor +3.48 +3.56
Toe In 0.7 0.7
Compression 6 6

Rear
Camber -3.42 -3.40
Toe In 2.0 2.0
Compression 8 8

Result: This setup felt great especially in the wet compared to the first setup. Running on Pirelli P-Zero Nero's, i was able to obtain the flat spot with 34 psi tyre pressure all round with a reasonable ride comfort. For track, i dialed the coilover compression to 1 for front and 2 for rear.

3rd mod:
Front
L R
Camber -1.5 -1.49
Castor UNK UNK
Toe In 0.7 0.7
Compression 6 6

Rear
Camber -3.41 -3.40
Toe In 1.8 1.8
Compression 8 8

Result: This is the last adjustment i have on the z4. Unfortunately the notes i wrote up for this adjustment went through the wash and i dont have all the precise readings for this. What i found from this adjustment was it was quicker for laptimes but a lot more tiring as i was concentrating a lot harder on keeping the car steady. Tyre pressures used were 38 front HOT and 40 rear HOT

Hope this helps

RHD shouldn't matter. The fact that it's lowered may, though.

Does anybody know the stock settings for the ///M version?
