Has anyone used this website? For the business, I need to buy a whole load of Huawei modems which I can only get from there (not available in the UK anymore).

Is this reliable and how can you avoid issues?

Ive used it a couple of times for various things.
I wouldnt trust it for anything of significant investment value but if ur looking for an enterprising chinese company to copy things like say, an expensive Roland guitar fx pedal or an icbm guidance computer then this is ur place!

Is there any comeback on the products? I assume you can pay by PayPal? The item is described as Genuine Huawei and has the correct image and description etc. The value is fairly high as I need a whole load of them.

How many do you need PVR? Are you looking for USB dongles, modules or gateways? Do they have to be Huawei? I might be able to help.

They are modems with voice facilities, that is the tricky part.

It's just a marketplace where individuals and factories have a “storefront" but there are will also be individuals posing as factories. They do have verified suppliers which takes a bit of the chance factor away but dealing with China is different to most countries.

Have a look on aliexpress a lot of the same suppliers sell on both and aliexpress does have a pretty decent buyer protection program

Ok no worries - Kind of in my line of work so was going to see if I could assist. Aha! I wonder if Huawei are paying the voice IPR premium - long conversation for another time. Best of luck in sourcing what you need.

For what it's worth I have purchased products on Alibaba.com from a verified suppliers (with accessible audit reports carried out by an Alibaba visit / employee). I paid by PayPal for extra protection and had no issues.

I've also bought stuff of Aliexpress.com (you will notice higher prices though as this site is for lower quantities) via escrow payment terms etc. Again no problems at all.

For some of them, I have had to pay a premium to unlock the voice part, but others came unlocked. The only reason I need that is to do number recognition of an incoming call.

The final product is almost ready to launch so you can admire it then :lol:
