Alarm sensitivity

So my new Z4s alarm tend to go off really easily. At first I thought it was because I left the boot open a crack  But thats since been resolved. It sits fine for hours, but occasionally just goes off because it feels like it. Is there any way to turn down the sensitivity of the motion sensors? Im presuming its that, as its locked and otherwise not being tampered with. Any info would be most apreciated. Thanks

Could be the old favourite, the bonet switch. Worth a try changing it, as it's only a tenner for a new one and a 2 minute job to replace.

I had this problem and it turned out to be the bonnet switch. I need to get round to replacing it but for the moment I just have the connector unhooked.

Thanks for the info guys. Sounds like it might be the culprit. I was messing around with the sound generator doodah yesterday so the bonnet was open and closed half a dozen times. It seams to not be so sensitive any more, so obvioulsy its helped a bit. But I'll get a new one ordered and swapped out. Does anyone have the part number to hand? Thanks
