Alarm problem

The alarm on my 2006 Z4M has a habit of going off 1/2 mins after I lock the car. If I reset it, it might not go off again, but there again it might.
Any clues pls?

I'm assuming they're the same set up as our mere mortals E85s?
If so, the main culprit seems to be the bonnet switch, mounted on the bulkhaed where the strut braces meet?
Try disconnecting that and see if it makes any difference.
