Alarm problem, not the bonnet sensor!

I read all the posts and decided that my alarm was going off randomly because of a faulty bonnet sensor. However I unplugged it and it still went off.

So as I recently had my airbag light go on (because I jumped the car from the battery, opps) I bought a cable and installed DIS and I removed the airbag light!

I also get the code "8a gm: dwa alarm memory: passenger-comp. sensor, front" so I assume it is the interior sensor setting the alarm off? If so where is it?

I have used SSC for now to deactivate the interior sensors when I put the alarm on. Only just done it so I will be able to report back soon with whether it works as my car alarm would not go for more than 12 hours without going off.

I had a problem about a year ago with the alarm going off intermittently. Turned out it was the tilt sensor which I think is on the rear axle. BMW replaced it under my warranty. I'm not sure what the interior configuration is. Hope you get it sorted!
