Alarm/Misting/Not closed fully

Hi all,

I picked up my z4 yesterday and its amazing but i might be having some teething troubles. When i remote lock it the mirror light flashes quickly and then reverts to the steady flash. I believe from the manual this is because apparently something isnt closed properly. ive opened and shut the roof, the doors, boot and bonnet but still this carries on. None of the warning lights on the auto roof are lit. when i lock the car the side lights dont flash. the alarm has gone off twice seemingly for no reason. i understand the best thing to do with that is disconnect the bonnet sensor under the hood and get that replaced though im not 100% sure how to do that as im worried ill disconnect the wrong thing.

Also, having left it parked ive returned and its all misted up. Ive read this could be because i didnt have the a/c on but if its not fully sealed it could be that?

in addition, on occasions and without any obvious pattern, the driver window will fully open when i unlock the car. ive tried the reset (down and hold for 10 secs and then up and hold for 10 secs) and it hasnt done the big drop since so maybe thats sorted.

I dont know if this is 3 minor issues which could be something or nothing or but im worried its all part of one bigger issue.

The driver window could be due to programming of key. If press the unlock button twice, the window drops to allow easier access in tight places. It baffled me for a few days too!

i think i have disconnected the bonnet sensor :? ... could anyone tell me if i have??? ive found loads of posts about it but no pictures. from what i read though ive assumed its the box above where the metal bars meet in the middle. if ive somehow turned the brakes off or something id be happy for you to let me know lol

interestingly, when i locked the car after doing this the side lights flashed and the light under the mirror just set as i expect normal to be.

Internal misting shouldn't be a long-term issue.....it could either be due to water ingress somewhere, or just the fact it may not have been used for some time.....a good long drive with a/c on usually sorts it....and as you've probably read elsewhere, use your a/c all year round or the seals will dry out and the gas escapes.

Can anyone tell me if i have disconnected the bonnet sensor as per my earlier picture. Im a bit worried to use the car in case ive pulled out something vital :?
