Hi my alarm keeps going off the only way to stop it is to press the key fob twice and turn the inside sensor and tilt off and then the alarm stays of for @ least 48 hours ( how long i didnt use the car but would have heard it if it did ) I think i might done sumthing as the centre console plastic behind the ciggie lighter( where it meets the dashboard plastic ) was creaking and I started pushing the plastic to find the creak and since that the aram has been going off not straight away i might add but anytime after realy . Does anyone no where the inside sensor is ? of is there a do it yourself one the forum to open center console where the gearstick is ? or any ideas realy and i dont no how to check if its the tilt or the internal movment sensor thanks in advance for any help

You sure it's not the bonnet sensor? That's the usual culprit, and an easy check (just disconnect it). It's the switch at the cross point of the braces under the bonnet.

Tapatalking...

As said previously, the common culprit it the bonnet sensor.

However if you want to turn the ultrasonics off then press & hold down the lock button for a few seconds. The red light below the interior mirror (that's where it is on my ZM4C) should glow red for a few seconds to tell you they're disarmed.

ok thanks i found me pressing the plastic had opened the inspection pannel below the cd player and loads of wires was trying to come out so i pushed them all back in and pressed the pannel back in to place for two nights i put the full alarm on ( where b4 it had gone off after a hour when fully set ) and it didnt go off but when i come back from a trip in the daytime it there was a beeping sound when i put the key in which i think indicates its gone off ? so now ive unplugged the bonnet swich and sat night til monday morrning its not gone off fully alarmed so i will just keep monitoring the situation and let u no

... bet you a tenna it's the bonnet switch, as think it's happened to most on here
