Alarm and central locking issues

Currently having a few issues unlocking and locking the E85. Every morning for the past week the remote central locking has not worked. Using the key in the drivers door is a struggle as it feels I am fighting the lock. Plus it takes a couple of turns to get the door pin to pop up. Opening the door then always sets the alarm off.
40 minute drive later and it only locks using the key in the lock.

For some reason there is no difficulty with the lock 9 hours later (still using the key to open it) The alarm does not go off either.

Had a search through the forum but cannot see anyone with the same issue in the past.

I originally thought it was the battery in the remote (new flip style key cut and programmed in 2018). But I do still struggle to get in manually 50% of the time, even then the alarm only sometimes sounds.

Is it common for the unlocking mechanism to stick over time?

What a time for this to start playing up!
Had a look a fuse 10, all appears well. Transport mode active according to my code reader, cleared but returned straightaway.
Will look into module repair companies when possible

The one we all tend to use is a company in Cumbria that offers a reliable and speedy turnaround for about £35. You'll find them on ebay if you search for something like "GM5 repair".

Hi Guys. I am having a similar problem to Wrighty. I cannot unlock my passenger door or central console using either my key FOB or the Central Locking button. All other operations are fine (Windows, roof etc). Neither can I open the door from inside using the door handle. Does that sound like a GM5 problem or an actuator problem?

Hi guys, my issue seems to be presenting is a slightly different way. I just bought my car and and knew the remote wasn't working when I did. I just assumed dead battery in the key so I thought no big deal and changed it to find it still isn't working. The key operates the central locking on both doors ok, the central locking button operates all locks ok and the boot release button also works fine. Any ideas on where the best place to look is?
