Kwik Fit will not charge you if they cannot improve the air con, Halfords will do a free check or an air con diagnostic for a reduced price.

Our's isn't used for air-con...but we are actively investigating switching to more environmentally-friendly refrigerants/propellants over the next few years.

It must be for some kind of refrigeration, then! Very popular gas in high temperature fridges (just above feezing). Or is it something else? Interested now when it's bought in 20 tonne flasks!

WOW! I can't believe HFCs are still being used as propellants in this day and age. Goes back to the days when R12 was used in everything from hairspray to paint cans! Even though that was a CFC and is the devil now!

So much for trying to kerb global warming. We are doomed! :wink:
