The metal cable on my drivers side door mech snapped and i successfully replaced it, in the process i disconnected the drivers side airbag without disconnecting the battery.

Now i have an airbag warning light :-( I plugged in an ODB2 reader to clear the error, but it keeps coming back. I have used some contact cleaner on the connections and re connected but still getting this error, please see the following image:

If anyone can give some advice on how to resolve it would be much appreciated!

Thank in advance.

Does this mean that i will not have to replace any parts, its purely a software thing? Many thanks

Assuming you didn't damage the connectors or harness during the wrk, then it's just a software reset.

Common schoolboy error that most of us have suffered to disconnect that circuit or a seat harness and turn on the ignition to test something, resulting in the airbag warning light.

Phew, all the cabling looks intact, looks like ive got my work cut out this DIS/INPA/SSS software looks like quite a complicated install.
