Airbag light on

So I changed the rear wheels today (don't worry I will be changing the fronts but lost the light) to my M3 reps (for winter) and fitted the spacers I recently bought off a forum member.

While putting the car back into the garage I noticed the airbag light on the dash was lit but the car hasn't moved in a couple of weeks so no idea why.

Any suggestions as to what's triggered it or if anyone has a fault reader computer near Skipton I could use?

Maybe it's the passenger occupation sensor. During working on the wheels for any reason did you put your knee on the passenger seat?

Not that I remember. I'm hoping it's sorted itself out it if not it's going in for its MOT in a week or so.

It's just twigged that I reckon it's because I had to put the wheel on the passenger seat. My local indie cleared the fault then it reappeared when I drove off with the spare wheel on the passenger seat.

Sound likely? If so how to resolve it?
