Airbag light on

So I've got the airbag warning light on my dashboard, tried clearing with carly, but still remains.

The only airbag warning in carly is 000020 error code. When looking into it, carly then gives me a few related issues (error codes), only two of which are items fitted to my car,- and both are AUC sensor (air circulation sensor), first question . . . Really? How can that impact the airbag? Second question . . . Where is the AUC sensor?

Any help would be great

AUC sensor is at the front of the car and is the ‘sniffer’ far bad air

Most fail- I’ve not had a car yet that hasn’t failed but I doubt that would be airbag related

AUC sensor or stink sensor as its known is located in front of the radiator on top edge underneath the plastic front apron cover. It is not related to the airbag system. Its function is to detect traffic fumes and controls the fresh air intake flap if vent is set to auto. If it detects traffic fumes outside the car it will command the fresh air flap to close thus preventing fumes being pulled into the cars interior. New one is expensive from BMW but you can source the small sensor thats inside the housing from an electronics supplier for a better price, it plugs into the sensor housing, usually destroy the old one when you pull it out. Changed mine but still get the code,m I ignore it now.

As to airbag fault more detailed info on the fault would be read by either INPA, BMW Scanner 1.4 or a Creator 310+ diagnostics.
Usual fault is loose or dirty connections under the seats that sets codes when the seats are moved. Check and clean connections but disconnect the battery before doing anything and do not switch ignition on with anything disconnected, that will set codes and airbag light as well.

Tried visually inspecting if water leaked in through the windows to the pillar area? There is a module that gets wets and shows low voltage warning and air bag light comes on
